One hand on the Trophy …

Following an ankle injury to Jack Torbett on Friday, the Academy 7s team contesting the AoC National Championship in Nottingham were reduced to a squad of just 10 as George Miller was hospitalised with an asthma attack on Saturday evening.

But they maintained their form with a 1-0 win and a 0-0 draw against Gateway College (East Midlands). The evening game unfortunately saw The Swans suffer their only defeat when Northern Ireland scored with the last kick of the game to win 2-1.

However they have bounced back this morning by beating Middlesbrough College 1-0, Stanley Channell coming off the bench to score the vital goal.

One hand on the trophy as Swans currently lead 3-0!

A big thank you from managers Martyn, Mark & Eugene to the Sports Makers from Kingston College – Jo and Jess – for their valuable support this weekend
