Lowestoft Town 2 Swans 4 …

Swans took their Bostik League goal tally to 64 with an impressive 4-2 victory at Lowestoft Town today. A brace from Elliot Buchanan took his personal tally to 21 and number 17 from Mo Bettamer added to the 30th minute opener from Max Worsfold. Swans remain in 5th place making slight headway on the chasing pack.

In a highly entertaining game Max scored the first direct from a corner as the ball was whipped over Dudzinki’s head helped by the wind. In the 36th minute a strong Lewis Driver header came back off the bar fro Elliot Buchanan to volley home for a 2-0 lead going into the break. Swans third came from buchs following up again, this time from a Bettamer shot but Mo did get on the score sheet in the 80th minute with a header to ensure the Swans took all 3 points back on the journey home desite goals in the 50th and 55th minutes from the hosts.

Good to see the new signing from Eastbourne Borough, Ugo Udoji, getting a full 90 minutes on his debut. Following the long journet to Crown Meadow we return to Wheatsheaf Park next Saturday for a 3pm kick off against 16th placed Merstham, 2-1 victors over Thurrock today. Lets hope for another double …
