Thurrock 0 Swans 2 …

Swans dug in to take all 3 points at Thurrock FC and move up to 3rd place in the Bostik Premier League. It was a huge win for Drax’s boys and left the chasing pack in no doubt of the clubs intentions.

Swans took the better of the first half but it was a goalless stalemate despite attempts from Miller-Rodney, Bettamer, Worsfold and a challenging run from Ahmidi. Ten minutes into the second half and Swans took the game by the scruff of the neck as Lewis Driver scored his 6th of the season sliding in from Worsfold’s cross. On 72 minutes it was 2-0 to the visitors as Ben Martin fires home off the back of Lewis Driver. Just had a DM from Ben to say it is Lewis’s but as things stand looks like it is given to Ben Martin. It was a massive gal from the Swans to put the game securely in their favour.

Great 3 points on the road as we all wish Captain Tommy Brewer a quick recovery from his knee injury.
