Swans 3 Tonbridge Angels 1 …

On an afternoon of FA Trophy action the upbeat Swans took their chance of league action to take all 3 points from the visiting Tonbridge Angels.

With Max Worsfold sidelined due to injury the visitors took full command of the first half and the ver present threat that is Nathan Elder sent the Angels in 1-0 up at half time with a 45th minute goal. The second half was a totally different story with Lewis Driver levelling 5 minutes in and shortly after the Angels were reduced to 10 men with the dismissal of George Beaven. From then on in it was only going to be the Swans that took the points and further goals from Elliot Buchanan on 74 minutes and Josh Webb on 82 minutes sealed it for the Swans who move back into the play-offs.

Five yellows and a red for the Angels and two yellow [Driver and Webb] for the Swans. Onwards to next Saturday and a trip to Merstham who went down 1-0 at Lowestoft and sit in 14th place in the Bostik Premier tonight …
