A great night for the Swans that saw Fans favourite Max Worsfold seal the game in the 89th minute with a cracker. It was just what the doctor ordered following the early exit from the FA Trophy to Saturdays opponents Margate.
Swans former player Darren Purse was back at Wheatsheaf Park with an organised Enfield Town but it was the free scoring Elliot Buchanan and Mo Bettamer who were on it again with a goal apiece to give the Swans the edge. The pair have now scored a massive 23 league goals between them, and with Max’s superb solo goal, the Swans are now 4th in the Bostik Premier.
Elliot Buchanan put the Swans ahead just before half-time but the resilient Enfield bounced back and levelled in the 50th minute through Roberts. Then it was the turn of Mo Bettamer to give the Swans a deserved lead in the 70th minute before Aarron Greene levelled yet again in the 79th. It was nothing more than the gritty Swans deserved when Max scored what could be the goal of the season to send everyone home with a smile on their faces … in the 89th minute. Well done guys!
