Tooting & Mitcham 0 Swans 7 …

Swans put behind the defeat at Hendon in some style at the KNK Stadium last night thumping the Terrors for seven. Hatricks for both Mo Bettamer and Elliot Buchanan [pictured] showed just what the Swans are capable of as they returned to their freescoring ways.

Draxs boys have now hit 13 goals without reply against Tooting this season and it was not a surprise to see a quote on Twitter ‘Well at least we won’t have to play again this season……’ as the fans left the stadium. Mo Bettamer opened the scoring in the 32nd minute and closed it in the 81st minute but it was the 6 minute hat-trick from Elliot Buchanan [72/76/78 mins] that stood out in the statistics. Bayley Brown added the odd goal shortly after half-time.

Swans are the leading Bostik Premier scorers with 27 and both Elliot and Mo have hit 5 against the struggling Tooting side.

Swans sit in 6th place and make the long journey to unbeaten Leiston on Saturday. The Suffolk side, always early pacesetters, are in 3rd place following a 3-2 home win against Brightlingsea last night.
