Folkestone Invicta v Swans …

Swans head of to the Fullicks Stadium for a Bostik Premier tussle with Folkestone Invicta. Invicta sit on 8 points, as do the Swans, but have scored just 7 compared to the 13 by Drax’s squad. Both teams have conceded 7, Swans with the devastating 5 in the Wingate game. Folkestone also recorded a great FA Cup victory over Greenwich Borough and look forward to a home tie with fellow Bostik side Tooting & Mitcham in the next round. A good victory against Tonbridge Angels was Invicta’s latest league game and the win saw Yusuff record his 4th goal of the season so far.

The return to the league campaign will be welcomed by Drax as he looks to turn the recent results on their head and get back to the free scoring start we have enjoyed …

Sat 30th September – YELLOW DAY!

Staines Town Juniors are planning on holding a “Yellow Day” on Saturday 30th September at our home game vs Enfield (provided they are not still in the FA Cup).  We hope to see many Junior members (wearing their kit) and joined by their family at the first team match. Also on the day the Supporters Club will be drawing a one off raffle prize of 4 x Chelsea Home tickets for the winner to attend their home game against Newcastle United on Saturday 2nd December K.O. 3pm. Raffle tickets for this will go on sale from this Saturday priced at £1.00 each. These tickets were kindly donated by one of our members.

On the day we also understand there will also be a nominated charity collection (charity to be announced) and the Supporters Club will also donate 25% of the raffle ticket money to this collection. So please help support a good cause … More on this soon!
