Swans go down to a 75th minute Moles goal at Evo-Stik side Aylesbury FC and the first pre-season defeat for Drax’s squad.

Swans fielded an under strength side, resting Worsfold, Buchanan and Bettamer from the front and a host of defenders against Davis Haule’s side.  Swans Swans started with Daly, Haydon, Gilbey, Ahmidi, Nembhard, Brewer, McEwan, D.Brown, Miller-Rodney, Hippolyte, Baptiste. On the bench were Haile, Jones, B.Brown, Webb, Oram and Driver.

In the first half the Swans best effort followed a great ball in by Daniel Brown setting Jonathan Hippolyte up, but it’s a tough ask and the chipped effort went over the bar. With the scores even at half time Baptiste, Oram and Bayley Brown are on from the bench.

With little to see from either side Haile and the returning Tommy Brewer came off and Josh Webb and Lewis Driver came on.  However, a great cross from the left hand side by Cruse enabled Scott to beat his marker to it and cooly slots home giving the Moles a 1-0 victory … on to Chertsey Town on Saturday KO 3pm.
