Swans starting XI: Jones, Webb, McLean, Ahmidi, Haydon, Martin, Driver, D.Brown, M.Bettamer, Collins and Worsfold. It was¬†to see the presence of Ashlee Jones in goal this evening for the Swans. Ashlee was one of top Ryman Premier performers last term with Leiston.¬†Also starting for the first time is defender Greg Haydon. A former AFC Wimbledon and Woking junior, he’s more recently served Guildford City.

The first strike went to the Swans as Tom Collins finished clinically from Ahmidi’s excellent set-up pass on 17th minutes.¬†The Swans doubled their lead on 40 minutes when Lewis Driver headed home from close range, following Ben Martin’s dominant header. Martin is surely to be a force for the Swans this season.

Drax made 4 subs at Half Time Gough, Hippolyte, Baptiste and Buchanan on for Martin, Driver, Bettamer and Collins.¬†Elliot Buchanan with a smashed, clinical strike just inside the box from Hippolyte’s excellent set-up play made it 3-0 on 57 minutes.¬†Bayley Brown, Tyrrell Miller-Rodney and Nebay Haile all then came on. and finally¬†Nembhard, Oram, McEwan and ‘keeper Daly all on with wenty minutes to go.

Penalty! Miller-Rodney was brought down on the end of another good move and darting run and settled the score with the fourth in style.

Shots pull one back on 81 minutes. George Root with a tidy, lobbed finish from 15 yards but it is now 4-1 to the Swans. Finally the¬†Swans made it five as Elliot Baptiste slotted home, unmarked following Hippolyte’s breaking run and unselfish set up.
