After 5 seasons and over 270 games for the club, Swans keeper Jack Turner moves on. Loved and respected by all at the club for his professionalism, personality and not least of all his skill between the posts.
Jack will be missed by the fans, who took to social media today, to praise and thank the keeper for his service and to pay credit to his family who’s company has been enjoyed by all. Jack started his career in the youth team , but left in 2007 to sign for AFC Wimbledon making his senior debut for the Dons in 2008 in the London Senior Cup. He signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2009, after rejecting offers to trial with several football league clubs, then making his league debut for AFC Wimbledon on 20 April 2010. Jack then returned to Wheatsheaf Park for the start of the 2012/13 season.
Jack moves on with the full backing and good wishes of all at Staines Town Football Club and the Management, Directors and Staff would like to thank him for his service to the club. Good Luck Jack!
