Stuart Moore has decided to step down from his rôle as Matchday Public Address Announcer by the end of the current season, and the Club is urgently seeking a new volunteer to step into this important duty.
Stuart has been involved with the Club, in a host of different rôles, since 1986, and has been ‘the voice of Wheatsheaf Park’ ever since we moved back to the ground in 2003. However, increasing work and home commitments have made it difficult for him to continue beyond the end of the current campaign.
We are grateful that Andrew Breadman has kindly agreed to cover for the game this Saturday (18th Feb), when Stuart is not available, but we would like to find someone who can step in on a permanent basis. If this can be arranged reasonably quickly, there will be the opportunity to ‘shadow’ Stuart, and learn the system as well as how to do the real-time online updates required by the Isthmian League on Football Webpages.
Could anyone who would like to be considered for this post please contact the Secretary – email@example.com, or make contact via the Club’s official Twitter.
Andrew’s standing-in on Saturday will also leave us one Steward short, so we would also be delighted to hear from anyone able to volunteer for this duty, either as a one-off, or on a more regular basis going forward.
