Clean Sheet, Clean Shorts! Jack Turner celebrated his 250th game for the Swans ball watching as Drax’s men turned on the style with an impressive 3-0 victory over visitors Grays Athletic, making it 7 points from 9 over the festive period.

From the start the Swans looked clinical and gained immediate control of the game with some sharp midfield play, first to the ball and quick to turn the play into attack. Despite the possession it was a single goal from Wadah Ahmidi [pictured] that took the Swans in ahead at half time with Grays thankful to their impressive keeper Tangara who put himself between the ball and the net constantly.  A Mo Bettamer penalty, superbly slammed home on 58 minutes ensured the 3 points and Afolabi Coker secured the victory on 80 minutes to round off a great display.

Next up is the visit to Kingstonian next Saturday with the Swans in 8th place on 38 points and Kingstonian 2 points behind with a game in hand. Come along and support the Swans on their travels … #FollowtheSwans
