On a freezing cold night in North London a brilliant strike from Tommy Brewer on 32 minutes showed how the Swans controlled the first half, the second was a different matter as Drax’s side were ‘undone’ by some fast football from Enfield Town.
The Swans fans that travelled across Middlesex saw a cracking goal from Tommy Brewer in a first half performance that outlined what can be achieved. It could have been 3 or 4 as Brandon Adams, Max Worsfold and Mo Bettemer all showed powerful play to go in at half time 1-0 up. Hopes were high for a good result here but Enfield came out fully determined to match and up the pace the Swans showed. They did that and some fast effective play from midfield saw Town score twice from Collins and Parcell.
As the game came to a close on a freezing pitch players started to look in danger of injuries and Max Worsfold pulled up and was replaced. Onwards to table toppers Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday at Wheatsheaf Park – KO 3pm … #FollowtheSwans
