Swans season of ups and downs continued when dealt a reality check by Jimmy Bullard’s Leatherhead despite controlling the game for much of the 90 minutes. Two goals from QPR loanee Brandon Adams were put to bed by the lively Kadell Daniel who led the Leatherhead front line with class.
It was a strong start from the Swans but Akindayindi twice and Daniel sent the opposition in to the break a massive 3-1 up! The Swans goal was a cracker from Adams and hopes were a little higher for a better second half rally. Not to be, Adams scored a great header and the Swans were in full control but two more strikes from Leatherhead, including a brilliant goal from Daniel brought the Swans back down to earth.
We have a break now until the trip to Enfield Town next Tuesday … time to reflect again. The two goals kept Swans strike rate high but conceding easily is a worry for Drax and his team. #FollowtheSwans
