Swans bow out of the Middlesex Cup …

It was Middlesex Cup day and Swans travelled to Hendon FC to play Edgware Town of the South Midlands League. Early fears of a second night of floodlight failure were the least of Draxs problems as he saw his recruits put out on penalties. At full time the sides were level at 1-1 with Swans goal coming from Kane Haysman but it was Edgware who edged it. Swans penalty scorers were Haysman and Dalling with Vanderhyde, Cole and Chong failing.

Congratulations to Edgware Town and good luck in the next round. Swans can now, seriously, concentrate of the Ryman Premier League kicking off with a visit to Canvey Island on Saturday. Canvey, 3-0 victors at Lowestoft on Tuesday evening will be out to take the spoils after returning to winning ways following 6 games without a victory.  #FollowtheSwans
