Swans, Magpies and the FA Cup …

The FA Cup always throws up a few tantilising fixtures, and in non-league, non more so than Swans manager Johnson Hippolyte facing his previous club Maidenhead United.

The Magpies come to Wheatsheaf Park on Saturday flying high with 26 points from 11 games in the National South, sitting 3 points clear at the top. With only one defeat and 20 goals it is a pretty impressive start to the season for Alan Devonshire’s squad. Since losing at Poole Town in early August the Magpies have gone from strength to strength. So there can be no better incentive for a Swans side, governed by Drax, to try and put a blemish on the form.  Swans have 20 goals in 9 games and several strikers hitting the net … Could be a great Cup-Tie!

The Swans Bar will be open before the game but will close at 6:45pm for a private function. Come along and support the Swans as we look to continue our terrific FA Cup history …
