The first leg of Chelsea Ladies’ Champions League Round of 32 tie against Wolfsburg will be played at Stamford Bridge.
Emma Hayes’s side face the German team for the second consecutive season in the competition, and with the first leg being played at the Bridge they will be looking to secure a good result ahead of the return.
‘It’s very exciting for us to be playing at Stamford Bridge and it’ll be a special night,’ said Hayes.
‘It once again highlights the commitment and belief the club has in this team and it will be a real chance to show what we can do.
‘I am sure the fans will come out in force to support us and create a fantastic atmosphere.’
The first leg takes place on Wednesday 5 October, kick-off 7pm (UK time), and the second leg follows a week later on Wednesday 12 October at 6pm (CET).
