STFC / Kingston College Trials …

Applications to join the Kingston College / Staines Town Football Club Men’s Football Academy for the 2016/17 football season and academic year are as follows.

DATEWednesday 1st June 2016

TIMEPlease arrive at 3:30am for a 4:00pm sharp start

DURATION – The trial will finish at 6:00pm.

VENUE – The trial will be held at The Richard Challoner School,

Manor Drive North, New Malden, KT3 5PE  (Please see map below).

The nearest station is Malden Manor, from where it’s 5 minutes’ walk to the school.

FACILITIES – The trial will be on a 3G (plastic) surface, and also on grass.  Changing rooms will be available, and parking is available on site.

WHAT TO WEAR and BRING – Please wear full training kit (no track suit bottoms or hats).  Bring boots both for the 3G surface and for grass; shin pads; and a drinks bottle.  Goalkeepers can wear bottoms; should also bring gloves and a cap if required.

Following your first trial, you could be

(a) offered an automatic place in the Academy for 2016/17; or (b) asked to come back for a further trial; or (c) informed that we are unable to offer you a place on the Academy – in this case you can still continue with your application to the academic faculties of Kingston College should you wish.

All students who are offered an Academy place will have to undertake a full-time academic course at the College, and you must apply for this as soon as possible.

Our Football Academy is widely regarded as one of the elite Further Education football establishments in the country, and has a proven record of developing young players through to senior First Team level.  We look forward to seeing you perform, and we wish you every success in your trial and in the year to come.
