Hendon 3 Swans Academy 4 ..

Much has changed at Silver Jubilee Park since Staines’ last visit some 30 years ago. It’s 3G now, and Hendon are the hosts, not Kingsbury. But it is a poor start for Staines – one down in 40 seconds.

Nebay Haile equaliser from a Smith throw, dribbled into the box, and shot into bottom corner on 44 mins and then he repeats his actions on 58 minutes to make it 2-2 after Swans fail to clear a corner in the final seconds of the half and Hendon capitalised by retaking the lead. Joe Patrick puts Hendon back in front after Swans play became a little sloppy on 63 minutes to be 3-2 down. RED CARD for Hendon as they go down to 10 men as the same player is booked for fouls on 72 & 73 mins. Joe Noakes then restored the comeback and the initiative on 74 minutes from a corner.

Swans netted in injury time but it was called offside! However in the 3rd and final minute of stoppage time a Callum McAllister free kick was scrambled in by George Smith to give Swans a 4-3 win …

3 points for the U18 & U19 today! The Academy showing how its done! U19 3-1 3-4 U18 … Follow the Swans on Twitter.
